The Democratic Representatives have been in Washington DC fighting to maintain AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE  (ACA / Obamacare)  for their constituents throughout the Shutdown.

Speaker Mike Johnson TOLD the GOP Representatives to stay out of Washington DC.   House lawmakers have met for only  87 days in 2025.   Meanwhile, they continue to receive  their $174,000 salary, health insurance, and contributions to their retirement benefits.

Representative Steil’s staff  has sent me a number of responses to my questions.  Apparently, his staff is working. Are they also being paid?.

• Why are Steil and his GOP colleagues not in DC working to resolve the shutdown?
• Why are they not working to resolve the FoodShare money problem to make sure our most vulnerable citizens have food on their tables?  The Dept of Agriculture has contingency funding for such situations.
• Why are they not working to help those who were impacted by the August floods in the Milwaukee area?
