Our grandparents’ generation recalls fondly listening to their parents and their stories of living through the Great Depression. It appears that we will have similar stories for our grandkids about the Trump Depression.

We’ll be  talking about the good old days when we had Medicare and  Social Security, free public education, separation of church and state, people caring for others, taking care of senior citizens and children. 

We will remember the GI Bill and other programs for our veterans. 

 We will reminisce  about our  strong and nonpartisan legal system which followed the Constitution as it was written.  

Elections were secure and fair no matter who won. 

NOW the only fair election “apparently”  is the one in which Trump and the Republicans come out on top. Our democracy is being corrupted by our very partisan Supreme Court, Congress, and Executive branches.  Worst of all, they are trying to eliminate our democracy and replace it with tyranny.

This WILL be our future unless we start paying attention to what the present regime is doing and planning for us. Project 2025 is alive and well. It is the blueprint for Trump and his cult.  They are going full steam ahead to execute their plans to decimate education, legal, scientific, and  health systems. 

Their focus is on building  a military to intimidate citizens who disagree with the decisions of Trump’s regime.

Congress has abandoned its responsibilities to control the purse strings of the US Government.  They have turned their responsibilities over to Trump via his out-of-control executive orders which do not comply with the Constitution and rule of law.
