Both the Wisconsin State and National Budgets MUST be designed to support the most needy. Lending a hand is the responsibility of a compassionate society, a government who cares about ALL of its people!
Prevention is cheaper than restoration. NO ONE is exempt from the damage Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” (BBB) will cause.
The BBB not only takes services away from those most in need but it will IMPACT all Americans. It will definitely affect the Wisconsin State Budget. Wisconsin and our local communities will have to make up the cost of these necessary services. THINK increased property taxes, etc. Who would miss these services? Anyone you know?
- Food stamps
- Pell Grants / college funding for education
- University Research
- Health care
- Public Education
- Students with Special Needs
- Meals on wheels
- Sale of public lands – National Parks, Forests and Waterways
- Clean drinking water
- Affordable housing
- Homeless shelters
- Rural hospitals and health care facilities
- Medicaid and Medicare
- Mental Health hotlines
- Support Services for Veterans
- Children’s health initiatives
- Early Child Care Services – Head Start
- Caps on drug pricing
What irreparable damages are we doing to ourselves as a country both individually and collectively? Where is our humanity?
