Hate group leader Caleb Laitinen of MassResistance has given Republican Rep. Bryan Steil the thumbs up.
The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) released its annual report of anti-government and hate groups in Wisconsin.
Two of those groups are based in Kenosha:
MassResistance and Kenosha Moms for Liberty

WISCONSIN MASS RESISTANCE is headed by Caleb Laitinen, Karen and Blaise Mahoney, and Kelly Hutchinson.

Caleb Laitinen, Mass Resistance, Kenosha

Karen Anne Mahoney, MassResistance, Kenosha

Blaise Mahoney, MassResistance, Kenosha

Kevin “Kelly” Hutchinson, MassResistance, Kenosha
Caleb Laitinen of MassResistance has indicated his support for Rep. Bryan Steil, saying “keep up the good work representing us in the 1st District”

Steil has never publicly disavowed his relationship with Laitinen or spoken against the harmful actions of MassResistance. He has posed with Laitinen on more than one occasion:

MassResistance is an extremist group operating out of Kenosha which has engaged in attempts to ban books at public schools and push anti-LGBT hate. They have engaged in social media attacks against school staff, school administrators and members of the community who oppose their anti-LGBT and extremist agenda.
MOMS FOR LIBERTY – KENOSHA was founded by Republican Assembly Rep. Amanda Nedweski and headed by Amber Infusino

State Republican Rep. Amanda Nedweski

Moms for Liberty head, Amber Infusino
Kenosha Moms for Liberty has attempted to ban books dealing with LGBT content from public schools and public libraries and engaged in other activities harmful to the community.
The SPLC is the premier U.S. nonprofit organization monitoring the activities of domestic hate groups and other hard right extremists – including the neo-Nazi movement, neo-Confederates, racist skinheads, antigovernment militias, Christian Identity, antisemitic, anti-LGBTQ adherents and others.
The SPLC defunded the KKK in 2008, suing them for the brutal beating of a Black teenaged boy at a county fair.
You can read more HERE about the harmful activities of these two groups in Kenosha.
Republican Rep. Bryan Steil –
the choice of hate groups.
We must stand up and expose extremist and their activities. We must reject all forms of hate and discrimination.
