It is time to sign up for the VERY (VERY) IMPORTANT One Year to Win Weekend of Action
This year will mark our 4th 1Y2W Weekend of Action, a celebration of 1 Year out from the 2024 election. This is a unique moment where we can build relationships with infrequent voters as well as dive into no data & unknown targets in VAN to help expand our universe for 2024. Simply put, the canvassing we are doing now will shape the targeting of voters we will be talking to next year. Below are the events happening around the region!
Staging Locations
We will have three Staging Locations in Kenosha County:
1) Kenosha City (Canvass Event Link)
Location: KCDP Office
Canvass Shift Times: Saturday, Nov 4 9am, 12pm, 3pm + Sunday, Nov 5 12pm, 3pm
*All KTown Teams and Volunteers will launch from this staging location.
2) Prairie Blues (Canvass Event Link)
Location: Hanson Residence
Canvass Shift Times: Saturday, Nov 4 9am, 12pm
3) Westosha Dems (Canvass Event Link)
Location: Salem Community Library
Canvass Shift Times: Saturday, Nov 4 10am

The Phonebanks and Canvass Events will have quick trainings prior. These in-depth trainings are recommended, but not required, for taking part in One Year to Win.

STAGING LOCATION TRAINING
Our Staging Locations are a HUGE factor in creating a top-tier volunteer experience for our Canvassers. If the walking involved in Canvassing is not something you're easily able to do, you can support the voter outreach efforts by joining our roster of Staging Location Volunteers. Please join us for this training if this sounds like something you'd like to learn about.

Recruiting
Making the impact we want to this 1Y2W will require us to get more than just our regular canvassers out there engaging with voters and firing up volunteers to support Dems throughout 2024. Phonebanking and Textbanking are the two BEST ways of recruiting Canvassers.
