Although Andres was born in Chicago, IL, his family moved to Kenosha, WI in July 2004. Since then, he has attended schools in the Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) for most of his young academic life. Continuing the tradition of receiving education locally, Andres attended the University of Wisconsin - Parkside double majoring in Physics and Applied Mathematics. From there, he went on to graduate school at the University of Wisconsin - Madison graduating with a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering. He has since returned to Kenosha working as an engineer in the Greater Milwaukee Area.

Andres first gained interested in politics upon the announcement of Senator Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign during the 2016 election cycle. When Senator Sanders came to visit Kenosha, WI at Carthage College, Andres immediately took advantage of the opportunity and went to hear the Senator speak. It was not until reading and learning about the political history and legacy of John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy that Andres found the inspiration to become more involved in politics.

In August 2021, Andres became a member of the Kenosha County Democratic Party (KCDP) and continued to attend monthly membership meetings learning what he could about local, state, and national issues. After about a year of building relationships among the KCDP, Andres would become a new board member-at-large in September 2022. Upon accepting this new position, he remains devoted to answering the decades old call to action once proposed by President John F. Kennedy: “ Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.”
