Mr. John Franco will make a presentation about why voting is so important in mid-term elections and the corresponding impact it has on policy. John has been an educator for over 25 years. He has taught high school courses including AP Government, U.S. History, Economics, Political Geography, Western and Non-Western Civilizations, Contemporary Issues, and Urban Studies. Courses taught at the college level include Philosophy, Ethics, Business Ethics, Humanities, World Religions and Philosophy of Religion.
“One cannot passively sit by the sidelines and expect others to make important decisions that affect all of us. Our republic requires active citizens who are informed and willing to serve their communities. With this philosophy in mind, I hope to set that example for my students by serving on the Kenosha County Board of Supervisors.”
